You’ve made it this far! Sooooooo why get a puppy from us? We think you’ll be impressed.
First lets talk about expectations. I expect a lot and I mean “a lot” out of a dog. You can see we do a myriad of things with our dogs. We show, we title in a variety of events and we hunt.
We strive to breed beautiful dogs. They have great pedigrees, are health tested, and have all performed incredibly well in the show ring. However, at our home, that just won’t get it.

Each puppy has Champion parents! Who cares you say? You should……….Parents that are tested against a standard, parents that are some of the best specimens available………make nice babies:)
Our dogs are treated like the athletes they are: They are fed a premium food. They are given vitamin supplements, fish oil and probiotics daily. As they say, beauty comes from the inside. We put good things in, we get good things out! We optimize our adults to be the healthiest they can be. Whether it is one of our stud dogs or brood bitches, nutrition plays a vital role before puppies are even conceived.
When one of our girls is pregnant she receives more supplements to help with the neurological development of the pups.We want HEALTHY, ROBUST puppies from the start.
For years we have followed the Avidog method of puppy raising. It works.
Countless hours are spent traveling, evaluating and testing our dogs. We know them. When we find a suitable breeding that we believe will make gorgeous, smart, biddable Weimaraners………….we do it!
All puppies are whelped in our bedroom and raised there for the first several weeks. Mom gets to relax and pay attention to her babies, with no outside stressors from the other dogs until she is ready. The puppies receive incredible nutrition from mom. We have been feeding her for this moment her entire life. We handle the puppies daily, usually several times. The puppies are introduced to what we believe is the MOST important thing:
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
In short, we require the puppies to encounter a daily stressor, a new scent and a new challenge. FROM DAY 1
Each and everyday the pups encounter something new, something different, learning that new things are fascinating…….not to be feared or stressed about. LEARNING happens, by chance and by direction. Stress has a POSITIVE outcome, not negative. We change the game as they grow. We encourage learning and change. We encourage positive stress.We practice potty training from week 3. We work on crate training weeks before they go to their new homes. We do adventure walks. We allow them to go well beyond the whelping box and playpen. But Why???
We want our puppy, your puppy………..to be programmed to learn, to be resilient, to perform when change or stress are introduced into their routine. To achieve more, faster. Happily. We want your puppies to do everything you want them to do, with you, as a team. Some teams might want to be the National Obedience Champion or Agility Champion.
