Dexter……..one wild storm,yep! When my Hazel x Rowdy litter was about 5 weeks old, I contacted the stud dog owner Stephanie Meyer to see if she planned on taking a stud fee puppy or cold hard cash. She sat on the fence for a bit, but assured me she would most likely not be taking a puppy, as she hadn’t done so in the past. I WARNED her, they look REALLY nice. As Steph and I have done for the past several years, we get together and do litter evaluations. Steph has a wealth of knowledge and can say exactly what she likes and doesn’t like about a puppy. She’s an incredible asset. When it came time to evaluate the Rowdy x Hazel litter along with our Jager x Rona litter, you guessed it, Steph and a small crew of people were there. Each puppy, meticulously discussed for structure, positive or negative. Needless to say, she was impressed. Guess who was taking a stud dog puppy……….and Dexter was his name. Dexter resides with Lindsey, Eric and Jacob Reit and is co-owned by Steph. Absolutely genius. Lindsey is a phenomenal handler and expert Weimaraner puppy raiser.

Dexter at 9 months old goes Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty at the Northstar Weimaraner Club Specialty and Best in Sweepstakes!! Update to the update!!! DEXTER Best of Breed at the WCA Winter Specialty. Best of Opposite Sex Lonestar Weimaraner Club and Best in Sweeps Male. This is a PHENOMENAL young dog. He is all business with Lindsey. To be a BEST IN SPECIALTY winner at 1 year old is super impressive. Winning at one of our largest WCA events, priceless. L & D, they deliver!
To say we had an incredible National Specialty week would be an understatement. My dedication to the boys is really paying off with some incredible wins on some gorgeous young dogs. Pictured is Casey (Magic’s Grayhart Glen O’ The Downs) Winners Dog at the National Specialty and Dexter (Winners Dog/Best of Winners) at the Greater Cinncinatti Weimaraner Club Regional Specialty the week of the National. Magic Weim boys took the two biggest, most competitive, winners dog points in the Nation!!! Super PROUD. None of it can be done without incredible families!!! Thank you TEAM MAGIC!!
