Rico or Rico Suave as I like to call him is a littermate to our Olive. I asked Rico’s parents Rick and Becky if it would be ok if I showed him. THANK GOD they agreed. In 2 weekends, Rico went BOW (first day showdoggin’) for a 3pt Major. He went Winners Dog at the Northstar Weimaraner Club Specialty for 5pts and Winners Dog at the Northstar supported entry for 4pts. Did I mention 2 weekends!! Rico is a gorgeous, smooth moving, tail wagging hunk. Every foot goes down perfect, he’s happy, he’s incredible. Rico finished in style here in Minnesota going WD/BOW/BOS for another major!!

Rico, my weekend child to do fun dog stuff, is having an incredible run. This GORGEOUS puppy is growing up and growing up well. I tossed Rico in the van to travel to Greeley Colorado for the Weimaraner Western Regional Specialty and Futurity/Maturity. Rico doesn’t disappoint. BEST DOG IN FUTURITY and BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX IN SPECIALTY at the Western Regional Show. Absolutely love this guy. Rico is on FIRE!!

********Update*********

Rico the wonder kid goes Best of Opposite Sex In Specialty at the WCA Winter Specialty. Rico is so smart, playful, he’s a dreamboat. Rico swims like a fish, retrieves and points cool stuff like birds. Rico will continue to be shown in 2025 and I think I will get Rick out of the house with him to do some hunt tests as well. At just 2, Rico is doing it all.

Update……again

Rico goes Best Of Breed 3 out of 4 Days in Minnesota, beating a Top 5 Weimaraner. Our young dog is nice, real nice.
