I was not looking for a “Ted” when I found him. I was not searching for a puppy. I had no interest in adding an outside dog to the group at this point. But when I saw him, I knew I at minimum had to inquire about him. I first noticed Ted when a friend of Zana’s (his breeder) and myself listed him on a Weimaraner Facebook page. There were 3 incredibly beautiful male puppies. All the puppies had a beautiful front assembly, top line and rear angle. Ted, of the 3, fit my style the best. So, I flew to NC to meet Ted and his breeder and decided he needed a home where he could be shown, but allowed to grow up and reach his full potential. As I’ve stated, I have a deep interest in the boys and keeping the gorgeous ones out in the fancy to help grow the breed. Welcome to the Magic’s family Ted!! Ted was bred by Zana Schepis of Geselle Weimaraner’s in North Carolina. ******Update****** Just like that, Ted’s foray into the puppy dog show world comes to an end. Shown twice. The first a puppy group 1 and the second time a BPIS at our National Specialty. Good boy Ted. He is an absolute delight. Ted will be spot shown at Specialty Shows this year. We believe the ceiling is very high for this young dog. Ted received a ton of compliments at the National. His laid back attitude, friendly demeanor and great structure doesn’t hurt:)
