Olive

Futurity and Maturity Placing

GCH CH Magic’s Shaken Not Stirred

DOB 12/22/2022

If you blinked, you missed it! Olive lived up to her expectations!! Olive in her very first dog show the “day” she turned 6 months old goes Winners Bitch 3pt Major, 2nd show, Winners Bitch 3pt Major, Olive went Best Of Breed over aunt Hazel for another Major and finished at 8 months in style by taking a Big ole 5 pt Major at the Central Futurity/Maturity weekend to finish her CHAMPIONSHIP at 8 months.  With parents like Tip x Rona the Olive didn’t fall far from the tree.

2025 The time has come……..Olive is going to lead the charge for us in the new year! She has shown flashes of brilliance along the way in 2024, often competing against her mom. Olive has just gotten better by the minute. She has an incredible attitude, loves to show and can move!!! We look forward to 2025, her and I, becoming a team. No more handing off Miss Olive, she’s all mine:)

*****Update*****

The incredibly athletic Olive gave herself a left leg injury this spring that we have been nursing. We had enough crate rest and recovery to compete in her Maturity at the National Specialty. Olive flew around the ring and showed absolutely incredible for me. We took home a 4th place in Maturity in a humongous class. I was the only Breeder/Owner/Handler to get a ribbon. We had 3 Magic’s weims out of the last six pulled for ribbons. That’s pretty impressive by any feat!! So, since we are so deep into 2025 we have turned our focus to getting these young dogs their Grand Championships and get Olive fully healed to make a deep 2026 run!!

OLIVE

Olive had an incredible National Specialty week. She was a great representation of what our future holds. Olive made “the deep’ cuts all week, moving from round to round to the final selections. while she remained just outside the ribbons, it was no less impressive that our “baby” at 15 months old, competed and held her own against the nations best weims. With her beautiful type and movement her time will come.

Olive placed fourth in an incredibly competitive intermediate futurity class. She was breeder/owner/handled! Olive has been quietly collecting Grand Champion points as well. In big entries in Kentucky she went Select Bitch to her sister that won the Breed from the Classes (for a 5pt Major) and select Bitch to her mother for another Grand Champion Major. That what I call consistent judging!

Olive at just 2 years old, is maturing incredibly well. Olive will be my 2025 special:)

Olive placed in both Futurity’s she was entered. Both classes were very large with strong competition.

Olive after an impressive few days showing at the WCA National get a great photo with a beautiful backdrop. Olive is just 17 months old. Big things in store for this gorgeous gal.
